Welcome to the Household Hazardous Waste Committees Page
The Upper Valley Household Hazardous Waste Committee and the Greater Sullivan County Household Hazardous Waste Committee were volunteer committees working to reduce harm to the environment and human health caused by the use and improper disposal of household hazardous waste in the Upper Valley. These committees ceased to exist in 2014. The Upper Valley HHW Committee had been in service for decades and many of the original members are responsible for today's HHW collection program.

The HHW Committees ceased to operate in 2014 although many of the members still volunteer at the Home and Life Show in Hanover, the HHW collections, and other events. Thanks to all the members for their dedication over the years.
